NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID OUTSIDE THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
September 21, 2007 to January 15, 2008

  1. PRELIMINARY INFORMATION: No purchase necessary. Void outside the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia and where prohibited or restricted by law. The sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins on September 21, 2007 at 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) PT and ends on January 15, 2008 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the "Sweepstakes Period"). All times in this Sweepstakes refer to Pacific Time ("PT").

  2. DESCRIPTION: The Line of Scrimmage Sweepstakes consists of sixteen (16) separate, weekly sweepstakes ("Weekly Sweepstakes") and one grand prize sweepstakes ("Grand Prize Sweepstakes"). Each Weekly Sweepstakes begins on Sunday at 12:00:01 a.m. PT and ends on the following Saturday at 11:59:59 p.m. PT with the exception of the first Weekly Sweepstakes which starts on Friday September 21, 2007 at 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) PT and ends on Saturday September 29, 2007 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT and the last Weekly Sweepstakes which starts on Sunday January 6, 2008 at 12:00:01 a.m. PT and ends on Tuesday January 15, 2008 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT. The Grand Prize Sweepstakes begins on September 21, 2007 at 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) PT and ends on January 15, 2008 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT.

  3. TO ENTER: To enter, access www.lineofscrimmage.com (the "Website"), click on the Line of Scrimmage Sweepstakes icon, then complete and thereafter transmit the entry form, which includes your complete first and last name, daytime telephone number including area code, date of birth, email address, and your answer to the trivia question about that week's featured high school on the Markuss and Joey's Line of Scrimmage tour (together, the "Entry"). Trivia question need not be answered correctly for Entry to be eligible. All Entries for a particular Weekly Sweepstakes and the Grand Prize Sweepstakes must be received before the end dates and times specified above. Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address per day during each Weekly Sweepstakes. Entries in excess of the stated limit will be disqualified. All required Entry information must be completed in full. Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void. All Entries become the sole property of NBC Sports and NBC Universal, Inc., and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted or unintelligible for any reason including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion (including at Sponsors and any other entity), are void and will not be accepted. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant who submitted a winning Entry, Sponsors reserve the right to deem the registered subscriber of the email account to be the entrant. Entry and/or Winner's acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sweepstakes Entities, as defined below, to use Winner's name, address (city and state), photo, likeness, biographical information, statement and voice for advertising/publicity purposes worldwide and in perpetuity in any and all forms of media now known and hereafter devised (including posting on Sweepstakes Website), without further notice to or compensation in connection with said Sweepstakes or the prizes awarded.

  4. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is only open to permanent legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are physically located and residing therein, and who are 18 years of age or older as of September 21, 2007. Residents of Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and possessions are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of the Sponsors, Sweepstakes administrator, those involved in the development, production (including prize suppliers), implementation and distribution of this Sweepstakes, their advertising or promotion agencies, parent companies, agents, officers, directors, subsidiaries or affiliates, participating stations, service providers, any other persons or entities directly associated with this Sweepstakes (collectively "Sweepstakes Entities"), members of their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouses), and/or persons living in the same household as such persons (whether related or not) are ineligible to enter this Sweepstakes.

  5. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS AND NOTIFICATION: For each Weekly Sweepstakes, one (1) potential winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible Entries received for that particular Weekly Sweepstakes in a drawing held on or about one (1) week after the end of that particular Weekly Sweepstakes by Sweepstakes administrator ("Weekly Drawing Date"). Non-winning Entries for a particular Weekly Sweepstakes will not be retained for subsequent Weekly Sweepstakes drawings. Potential Grand Prize Winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible non-winning Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period in a drawing held on or about January 25, 2008 by Sweepstakes administrator ("Grand Prize Drawing Date") (Collectively "Drawing Date"). Potential Prize Winners (or, if a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be notified by phone and/or email. Sweepstakes administrator will make ONLY two (2) attempts to contact a potential Prize Winner at the phone number or email address provided online at the initial time of entry within forty-eight (48) hours from the Drawing Date. If Sweepstakes administrator is unable to reach a potential Prize Winner via phone or email within the time frame set forth above, he/she may be disqualified and an alternate Prize Winner may be selected. If any potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, he/she is found to be ineligible, he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, and/or if his/her prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such potential winner will be disqualified and, an alternate potential winner of such prize will be selected at Sponsors' sole discretion. Potential Grand Prize Winner (or parent/legal guardian if such potential winner resides in a state that deems him/her to be a minor) will be required to return a completed, signed and notarized affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and, except where prohibited, a publicity release and any other documentation that Sponsors require (collectively "Affidavit/Release"), within five (5) days after receipt by potential Grand Prize Winner or such potential Grand Prize Winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential Grand Prize Winner may be selected at Sponsors' sole discretion. Winners' names will be posted on the Website in the Toyota Line of Scrimmage Winner's Circle on NBCSports.com. Limit one (1) prize per person or household.

  6. PRIZES/ODDS OF WINNING: There will be sixteen (16) weekly prizes ("Weekly Prize") (one (1) Weekly Prize per Weekly Sweepstakes) and one (1) Grand Prize awarded. Weekly Prizes: Each Weekly Prize consists of one (1) NBCSports.com Prize Pack consisting of: one (1) NBC Sports Polo Shirt, one (1) NBC Sports Sunday Night FootballCap,one (1) NBC Sports Duffle Bag, and one (1) NBC Sports Bottle Koozie. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each Weekly Prize is: $85.00. Grand Prize: The Grand Prize consists of one (1) trip to be shared by winner ("GP Winner") and one (1) guest ("Guest") to New York City, NY ("Trip"). The Trip includes round-trip coach-class air transportation for GP Winner and Guest from a major commercial airport (as determined by the Sponsors in their sole discretion) near Winner's residence in the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia to New York City, NY; standard hotel accommodations (single room/double occupancy) for three (3) nights; round-trip ground transportation via limousine to and from Airport/Hotel; a VIP tour for GP Winner and Guest of the NBCSports Studio and the opportunity for GP Winner and Guest to meet NBCSports talent (Talent to be determined by Sponsors at their sole discretion and subject to Talent's schedule and availability). ARV of the Grand Prize: $3,500. ARV of all Prizes is: $4,860. Odds of winning a Weekly Prize depend upon the number of eligible Entries received for that particular Weekly Sweepstakes. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend upon the total number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. ARV of the Grand Prize may vary depending upon the point of departure and any airline fare fluctuations; any differences will not be awarded. Air transportation provided only if GP Winner resides more than 100 miles from New York City, NY. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation if GP Winner resides less than 100 miles from New York City, NY. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for a prize (or prize components), except that Sponsors may substitute a prize (or prize component) for one of equal value for any reason. In the event that a prize component is not available for any reason, then the remaining elements of the prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors' prize obligation to Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. If a prize is unclaimed, that prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries. Any depiction of prizes is for illustrative purposes only. Weekly Prizes will be mailed/shipped to street addresses within the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia only. All federal, state, or other taxes and any expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winners. Grand Prize Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 from the Sponsors for the total ARV of the Grand Prize (for Winner and Guest), as stated above, won in the calendar year the prize was won. Sweepstakes administrator is not the supplier or guarantor of any prize. If a Prize is won by a minor, Prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian.

    Trip must be taken during the dates specified by Sponsors at their sole discretion. If GP Winner cannot take trip on dates specified by Sponsors at their sole discretion, he/she has one (1) year from first date of notification of winning to take trip to New York, NY along with the remaining elements of Grand Prize, and no additional or other compensation will be awarded. If trip is not taken within one (1) year of notification of winning, prize will be forfeited.

    Trip subject to availability, holiday and blackout dates, and all other prize and travel restrictions. Travel and hotel arrangements to be determined by Sponsors at their sole discretion. Once determined, no change, extension or substitution of Trip date is permitted, except by Sponsors at their sole discretion. GP Winner and Guest must take air travel on same travel itinerary. GP Winner and Guest are solely responsible for all other incidentals/expenses not specifically mentioned as being included, including, but not limited to additional ground transportation, meals, gratuities, and phone calls.

    Tickets are valid only for travel on airline chosen by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Tickets will be issued only to GP Winner and Guest. Tickets are not redeemable for cash and are void if sold for cash or other consideration. Once issued, tickets are nontransferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced. Open tickets may not be issued and stopovers are not permitted. GP Winner and Guest must have valid travel documents (e.g., valid government-issued photo identification and/or passport) prior to departure. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of Prize. Travel may not be combined with any other offer. All travel will be at the risk of GP Winner and Guest.

    Sponsors shall have no responsibility or liability for cancellations and/or delays or any change by the air carrier(s), lodging facilities, or other company or any other persons providing any of components of the Grand Prize for the winner and his/her Guest due to reasons beyond Sponsors' control. The Sponsors maintain no control over the personnel, equipment, or operation of any air, water or surface carrier, ship line, bus or limousine company, transportation company, hotel, and/or restaurant. In the event of an act of God or an unforeseen, uncontrollable, event, Sponsors maintain the right to reschedule the Trip for a later date. If the GP Winner chooses to take the Trip with no Guest, then the remaining elements of the prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors' prize obligation to GP Winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. GP Winner's Guest must be at least 18 years of age or older. Winner's Guest (or his/her parent/legal guardian if Guest resides in a state that deems him/her to be a minor) at Sponsors' sole discretion will be required to sign, execute, have notarized, and return a Liability Release, a Publicity Release and any other documentation that Sponsors require within five (5) days after receipt by potential GP Winner.

  7. CONDITIONS: By entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees for entrant and for entrant's heirs, executors and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities and their respective officers, directors, and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant's participation in this Sweepstakes and/or his or her acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, or any portion thereof; (b) to indemnify Released Parties from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes and to hereby acknowledge that Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to prizes, including express warranties provided exclusively by the prize supplier that are sent along with the prize; (c) that Sponsors have the right to modify, edit, adapt, electronically alter, use, assign and/or dispose of such Entries however they see fit and for any purpose without any notice or compensation to entrant or any third parties; and (d) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official rules or the Sweepstakes itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsors, whose decisions are binding and final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion. By entering this Sweepstakes, all entrants agree to cooperate with any inquiries from Sponsors regarding participation in the Sweepstakes.

  8. ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsors reserve the right to terminate this Sweepstakes or permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Sweepstakes or operation of the Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsors who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes should any computer virus, malfunction or other cause beyond their control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, prizes will be awarded from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to the event requiring cancellation. Notice of cancellation will be posted on the Website.

    The failure of Sponsors to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsors (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

    Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, for inaccurate transcription of entry information, errors in any promotional or marketing materials, errors in these rules, for any human or electronic error, Released Parties are not responsible or liable for multiple Entries beyond those authorized by these Official Rules. Entries that are entered by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device) will be disqualified. Entries that are illegible, late, tampered with, forged, incomplete, misdirected, lost, misplaced, stolen, destroyed, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified.

  9. DISPUTES: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any participant, Sponsors or the Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York. If any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes, the Official Rules, or the breach of any term hereof, cannot be otherwise resolved, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in the County of New York, and administered by Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services ("JAMS") in accordance with its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures or subsequent versions thereof ("the JAMS Rules"). The JAMS Rules for selection of an arbitrator shall be followed, except that the arbitrator shall be an experienced arbitrator licensed to practice law in New York. The decision of the arbitrator shall be binding, final and conclusive and shall not be appealable to any court. ALL PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT PURSUANT TO THIS PARAGRAPH WILL BE CONDUCTED IN THE COUNTY OF NEW YORK. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF.
